Eleanor Cairns “Miss Dynamite”

Started playing darts when i was about 10 and i went with my brother one week to the St Helens darts academy and immediately loved it and as weeks went on everyone said that there was a natural talent in there, not long after by 11 i was asked to play for Lancashire youth and over they years i became vice captain and eventually captain at this point i was playing for pub leagues during the week and entering tournaments including the JDC and England grand prix’s. the Covid lockdown hit and found it very hard at first but carried on and played in a online league with lots of other women and really enjoyed it and even got to play for my country in online games against Russia and Hungary which was amazing and then finally we was allowed to go back out play some darts and at this time i had got my first sponsor which was Premier office supplies who still support me today then, in October 2020 i made it to the last 8 in one of the women series events and then played in various tournaments throughout the year to get back after not playing for so long then in September 2021 i got asked to play for Lancashire seniors and won my debut game and won lady of the match then in October i won my first ever title the first ever British classic girls champion and a week later i won the welsh open girls title too i was so excited, After this in November i was signed by target which was one of my dreams, in January 2022 i got to play on the Milton Keynes stage and become JDC super 16 runner up then in march i became isle of man girls runner up. in April was my biggest competition ever to play for the first ever WDF girls world title i qualified for this competition in December 2021 but it got pushed back because of Covid and i managed to win it 2-0 in sets and it was incredible and i became the first ever WDF girls world champion not long after i turned 18 which meant i cant now do any youth competitions but i hoping to carry on in the ladies tournaments and do development tour and the women’s series but most importantly keep enjoying it
