Mini Boarders is the perfect starting point for dart enthusiasts aged 7 and up. Here, they’re introduced to the essentials: learning how to stand confidently at the oche, mastering the grip of the dart, perfecting their throw, all while prioritizing fun and cultivating good darts etiquette.
Doreen (Lead Coach)
Doreen brings a blend of fun, energy, organization, and patience to the team. Not only is she an integral part of the team, she is the Secretary for the Bucks Youth County Team. She is also a devoted mother supporting her son, Josh, in his darting pursuits. Despite her own love for darts, Doreen prioritizes Josh’s journey, often sacrificing her own playing time. Her longstanding membership in the club speaks volumes about her value as a team member.
Si
Si stands as one of Craig’s most enduring friends and a vital asset to the club. Fearless in challenging the status quo, he keeps Craig on his toes. Si’s involvement extends to the adult Sharks team. Embracing old-school methods, he prefers pen and paper, which serves as a valuable tool in teaching kids proper counting techniques. With a wealth of ideas and exceptional organizational skills, Si significantly contributes to the club’s success.
Kellie
Kellie holds the distinction of being one of the longest-serving Sharks, having been part of the club since its inception in 2016. At the youthful age of 16, Kellie made the transition to the coaching team in 2022, discovering her passion for coaching over playing. Her dedication and skill have gained her high praise from fellow coaches and parents alike. The mini boarders hold her in high regard, recognizing her as a great mentor.
